We can usually arrange for shopping services for the elderly to begin within a few days.
Are the shoppers reliable?
All the carers on our home care teams have been through in-house training with Jothno Care and Support and prior to placing them we assess their suitability for home care. Jothno Care and Support’s service was rated Good by the CQC.
What happens if the regular carer is ill or goes on holiday?
We have home care teams who are experienced in transitioning from family caregiver to agency care and from carer to carer. Jothno Care and Support will provide cover for the carer if they are ill or go on holiday and we will ensure a smooth transition.
Can we have a south Asian carer?
We match home carers with families who are compatible. We will look at the needs (e.g. aging, dementia, physical disability, learning disability), personality, and cultural requirements of the person who needs care. We will also take into account any requests for a particular nationality of carer.
How frequently can shopping services be provided?
