What does personal care mean?
Personal care includes help at home with washing, bathing, dressing, hair care, oral care, nail care, going to the toilet, and moving around your home.

We support older adults who live alone. We are specialists in supporting those with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, physical disabilities, Parkinson’s disease, and more.

Dressing
Our professional caregivers are on hand to assist with dressing each day. We can help you to get out of bed, get dressed, brush your hair, wash your face, put on your makeup, shave, and more.
Bathing
Bathing is essential to personal hygiene. Our carers can help you to access the bath or shower, and help you to wash. We can help to arrange for mobility aids like handrails and grips to be installed.
Toileting
If going to the toilet alone is difficult, we can assist you with accessing the bathroom or toilet, help you to sit down and get up. We can clean up if there is accidental incontinence.
Reassurance
We understand that it is embarrassing to ask for help with personal tasks like dressing and washing or going to the toilet. Our carers are trained to be empathetic.
Independence
We will encourage you to resume taking care of yourself whenever possible, to increase your independence and prolong it for as long as possible.
Privacy
Our carers will ensure your privacy and work to maintain your dignity at all times. We take pride in helping vulnerable people to stay at home.
