RECRUITMENT GUIDELINES
Essential requirements
1) Right to work in the UK
2) Basic English Language Skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking)
3) Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent
4) Empathy, patience, and a personality suited to giving care
5) Professional or personal experience is preferable
6) DBS certification is essential. If you do not already have DBS certification, you will need to pay to apply for it.
Recruitment process
Step 1: Email us your CV, if we are impressed we will make further enquiries.
Step 2: We will call you for a quick telephone screening to answer some simple questions about yourself and your suitability for the job.
Step 3: When you pass the telephone screening, we will invite you to an interview with one of our managing team members.
Step 4: For the interview, you will need to prove your right to work and your identity, as well as complete a quick writing task.
Step 5: After passing the interview we will provide you with all the training you need.
Note that training takes a minimum of six weeks which must be completed before you can work as a carer.
Step 6: Once your training is complete, Our friendly admin team will invite you to the office to complete compliance (signing work contracts, getting your ID, company policies to follow, your uniform and an introduction of your client.)
Step 7: Now you’re ready to join our team and work as a Jothno Carer!
