What does the cost of home care include?
Home care packages include support for everyday activities – from getting dressed in the morning, to eating well, taking medication when it is needed, keeping the house clean and tidy, to going out to appointments and events.
How can I fund home care?
Newham Council, or your local council in East London can provide you with an assessment of your care needs. If you have over £23,250 in savings (at the time of writing) you do not qualify for council funded care. Attendance Allowance or Personal Independence Payment can be used to pay for care.
