WE CARE & WE SHOW IT
24 Hour Respite Care in London
What does respite care mean?
We can provide 24 hour respite care services to allow the caregiver to take a break from caring. We provide home care so that the caregiver can spend a night away from home, go shopping, get their hair cut or take a walk without worrying about what is happening at home.
Who do we help?
We support family and friends who are looking after older adults or those with physical or mental disabilities. They can be long term caregivers or supporting someone who is newly diagnosed.

RESPITE CARE Services

Professional care
We are a safe pair of hands. Our professional care team is trained to step in and provide respite care when you need a break away from caring for a loved one. The team is experienced in caring for complex needs and challenging behaviours. They understand the confusion and upheaval that a change in carers can bring and will aim for a smooth transition.

Respectful and kind
We aim to deliver a service that is built on trust and mutual respect. We understand the stress caused by illness and disability and will interact in a kind, professional manner. We will ensure that we are cognisant of any personal preferences that are specified by either the patient or the family caregiver who is taking some time off.

Emergency cover
We can provide home care or live-in care cover for you quickly and professionally when an emergency occurs. Our respite care teams can provide personal care, 24/7 care and medication management so that you can leave your loved one, knowing that they are safe and will be looked after and will receive the right medication, if and when it is required.

Emotional support
Living with someone who has a degenerative mental disease like Alzheimer’s or dementia, or someone who needs help with every daily task is exhausting, particularly when the care is provided over years or decades. We can provide the emotional space a caregiver needs. Respite care gives them time to recharge their batteries and return to care refreshed.

Flexible care arrangements
We understand that care requirements can change over time when family support is not available or is overstretched. We can arrange a care plan that suits your needs and is flexible to change. It will be personalised to your individual situation and will support you so that you know you can take a break without worrying.

Short or long-term care
Respite care can be short or long-term cover. We can provide respite care from a few hours a week to a number of weeks (anything from 2-4 weeks) while a caregiver takes a well-deserved holiday. The respite care service can take place in your own home or in our accommodation, whichever is preferred.
